A letter from our judges
The talent in the Play Crossroads promotion absolutely blew us away. For those who say the guitar is dead, this program is living proof that guitar is more than alive and kicking!
Selecting the winner was an extremely difficult process for us as judges. Once we narrowed it down from 100 to 20, it was a challenge for us to come to a consensus on who should be selected. We read the comments, followed who was buzzing, and knew that there was a lot of effort from a lot of people to help their favorite artist win.
Unfortunately for us, we only have one slot, for one winner. Thankfully, companies like Ernie Ball and their partners work hard to provide these once in a lifetime opportunities for artists to play live. We all wish we had these opportunities available to us in the past!
One thing we are hoping comes out of Play Crossroads is a new program (which is already in the planning stages), called, "The Prodigy Tour." This program would give 10 artists the opportunity to go on a tour (fully funded by Ernie Ball), and play a live opening spot for a marquee artist.
Thanks to all of you for signing up, and let's all wish Philip Sayce the best of success at MSG.
