The Vehicle is a time tested Blues/Rock band that also steers into the jamband genre from time to time. The band is fronted by Ron Yarosz who was referred to by the Internationally syndicated radio program Beale Street Caravan as a ”Harmonica and B3 maestro” (October 2010).. He either drives the Vehicle from the front of the stage while playing harmonica or steers it from behind the Hammond B3 organ. On guitar…The Super-Charger of the Vehicle...Eric Brewer. He was a finalist at Guitar Player Magazine’s Superstar competition which prompted Joe Satriani to complement on his “amazing technique” and Steve Vai to say “I’m impressed with your chops and how you ebbed and flowed the energy”! The Drive Train of the band is made up of Ron Sutton…(who has honed his craft all over the globe playing with such acts as Bernard Allison, Jasson Ricci, and Hadden Sayers) and Ralph Reitinger on Bass (Who has toured with Harper, Anthony Gomes, and others). They all call Erie, PA home. The band has a deep well of original material to draw from and does their own versions of some of their favorite classic blues songs. The band is the winner of the 2011 Cleveland Blues Challenge and a two time winner of the Pittsburgh Blues Challenge (2008 and 2010). The band recently won 6 awards at the 2011 RockErie.com music awards including Favorite: Blues Band, Guitar Player, Bass Player, Essential Player (Harmonica), Keyboard Player and "Album of the Year" for their new release "Tulips On My Organ". Ron won 2 more solo awards at the 2012 RockErie music awards for favorite Keyboard Player and for Essential Player. The band has represented Erie and the surrounding regions three times at the International level while competing at the Blues Foundation’s International Blues Challenge in Memphis TN. This past February they advanced to the semi – finals of the IBC…this honor essentially recognized the band as being in the top unsigned blues bands in the WORLD!
